JERUDONG Park Medical Centre (JPMC) recently held a certificate presentation ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of its rehab patients.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them for their hard work and determination in completing the programme excellently.
The programme is a collaborative team effort between stroke and cancer patients from the Brunei Neuro-Stroke Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) and The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC), especially for individuals who experienced physical and vocal disabilities.
A video presentation showed the patients’ journey in preparing for the dance and musical performance over the past five weeks. The guests were then entertained with the performance they had been preparing for.
The Rehabilitation Department has a vital role in understanding the needs and goals of their patients. As desired, the department had conducted a series of activities, for instance baking sessions prior to Hari Raya, handmade crafts, and building a replica of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, just to name a few.
Available treatments offered in the Rehabilitation Department include Falls Prevention, Geriatric and Paediatric Rehabilitation, Back and Neck Pain, Stroke and Spinal Cord Injury, Orthopaedics and Sports Injury.
