12 May 2018 – In the light to welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadhan, The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) hosted a cleaning campaign with more than 40 employees from The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) worked together to clean up, the “Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Sadur Tanjong Nangka” Muslim Cemetery.
The activity aimed to give its volunteers a sense of positivity coming into the Holy Month as well as a means to give back to the community. This also helps the interdepartmental relationships between staff members become stronger and closer together.
The guest of honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Dr. Hj Md Isham Bin Hj Jaafar, in his capacity as Executive Director of Jerudong Park Medical Centre, officiated the cemetery cleaning event, visiting the JPMC staff volunteering for the cleaning of the cemetery.
Following the cleaning campaign, the volunteers recited the “Doa Selamat” along with “Tahlil” led by Imam Haji Kamarulzaman Bin Haji Zakar, from Jerudong Mosque.
The cleaning campaign served as part of the Hospital’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme aims at giving back to the community.
