13 June 2018 – Following the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) Open Day that took place on Friday, 11th of May 2018, Jerudong Park Medical Centre has held a lucky draw for the winners and cheque presentation for ABLE Brunei (Down Syndrome Association) event yesterday on Tuesday, 12th June 2018.
The event began with a short video presentation showcasing the series of events throughout the early month of May such as Spinning for Charity, JPMC Open Day, where the donation funds for ABLE Brunei (Down Syndrome Association) were raised from, including; the games & activities, various vendors, food stalls and donation boxes.
After the video was shown, the lucky draw winners were then selected to have the grand prizes presented to them by Ms. Chung Yea Fui, JPMC Director of Nursing. The prizes comprises of; Health Screening Packages at JPMC, Membership for JPMC Fitness Centre and Food Vouchers. Many participants for the lucky draw also won complimentary token gifts from Standard Chartered, Microsoft (B) Sdn Bhd, and merchandises from JPMC.
A certificate of appreciation presentation was later conducted and awarded to the companies who supported JPMCs series of events and vendors who participated on JPMCs Open Day that took place on the 11th May 2018.
The event concluded presenting mock cheque to ABLE Brunei (Down Syndrome Association) worth of BND$4,365 that was presented by, the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Dr. Hj Md Isham bin Hj Jaafar, in his capacity as the Executive Director of JPMC. We hope the donations raised are able to support ABLE Brunei's (Down Syndrome Association) for their many programs to teach, educate and give care to children with Down Syndrome.
