27 May 2017 – More than 30 volunteers from The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) organized a cleaning campaign at the Babindai Muslim Cemetery in Kampong Jerudong yesterday.
The annual project aims to give its volunteer a sense of positivity and to glorify the Holy Month of Ramadhan as well as a means to give back to the community.
The event concluded with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Arwah led by Ustaz Hj Iskandar Bin Hj Buntar, Religious Officer of The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC).
The Jerudong Park Medical Centre has planned a number of activities throughout the month of Ramadhan including a donation drive for the underprivileged families which will be held in two consecutive days as well as the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and breaking of fast for orphans. These activities serves as part of the Hospital's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, with a primary objective of giving back to the community and also to strengthen then bonds between staff members.
