24 May 2017 – Yesterday morning, a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and BNH Hospital from Thailand was held at the JPMC CME Room.
The primary objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding would be a series of academic collaborations inpatient management, establish co-development to uphold clinical service, to conduct joint research activities, best practice exchange and staff exchange and other activities of mutual interest.
Signing the MOU on behalf of JPMC was Dato Paduka Dr Hj Md Isham Bin Hj Jaafar, Executive Director and Medical Director of JPMC and representing BNH Hospital was Dr Nopparat Panthongwiriyakul, Deputy Hospital Director of BNH Hospital. Among the attendees witnessing the signing ceremony were His Excellency Mr Biravij Suwanpradhes, The Ambassador of Thailand in Brunei Darussalam, Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Dr Awang Haji Mohammad Amin Liew, Chairman of JPMC, Board of Directors, Senior Management and Staff of BNH Hospital and JPMC.
"We have just witnessed the first milestone for a mutual Healthcare Innovation between two healthcare centers." said Dato Paduka Dr Hj Md Isham bin Hj Jaafar, Executive Director and Medical Director of JPMC. "With this Memorandum of Understanding we put forward the quality of healthcare and hope both our hospital efforts will be beneficial to the society. We believe that this would bring together the new frontier of healthcare with the best interest of patient's health in mind" Dato added.
