IN COMMEMORATION of World AIDS Day celebrated every December 1, Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) partnered with Brunei Press organised a weekly awareness quiz on HIV/AIDS recently.
The quiz contained a total of eight questions that tested the readers' knowledge on the disease including the symptoms and ways of transmission of the infection.
There were 10 winners drawn out randomly out of hundreds of participants.
The lucky draws were pulled out by Reggie See and Hazizah Osman, General Manager and Deputy General Manager of Brunei Press, followed by Ak Danny bin Pg Tajuddin, Marketing Officer of JPMC.
"I'm very delighted to find out more than 100 participants joined the World AIDS Day Quiz," said Ak Danny.
"It shows their interest in building their knowledge and support on the awareness of the disease.
"I am also pleased to congratulate the lucky winners and thank all of the participants for joining the weekly quiz," he added.
The names of the lucky winners are available in today's edition of Borneo Bulletin.
Each winner will receive a goodie bag worth $150 which includes a one-month free membership at JPMC's Fitness Centre, one voucher of 20 per cent discount on selected treatments or services available in JPMC and a voucher of 10 per cent discount on any purchase at JPMC Pharmacy.
Winners of the quiz are invited to attend a prize presentation ceremony next Wednesday at 2pm in the CME Room, Level 1 of Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) building.
Winners are required to bring along their identity card (IC) to redeem their prizes.
