Job Summary

  • Responsible for executing international patient marketing and outreach activities to promote specialised hospital services and medical tourism offerings, driving global visibility and attracting patients from overseas markets.
  • Support the enhancement of the organisation’s global brand and reputation by ensuring consistent messaging, coordinating cross-border communications, and promoting clinical excellence, accreditations, and success stories to international audiences.
  • Coordinate end-to-end international patient engagement processes by managing communication between internal departments and overseas stakeholders, ensuring a seamless experience across the patient journey from inquiry to arrival.
  • Track, analyze, and provide report on international patient engagement, inquiry trends, and campaign performance to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of global marketing and outreach strategies.

Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications or Business Administration from an institute recognized by the Ministry of Education in Brunei is required.
  • Candidates who have equivalent qualifications through education and/or experience may be considered for assignment to this position
  • A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in relevant field in Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, Market Research or Sales or a related field is required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in market research, public relations, and customer segmentation concepts.
  • Skilled in using design and editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other relevant digital tools for content creation and visual communication.
  • Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and executing promotional events.
  • Proficient in multimedia development, photography, videography, graphic, web design, video editing, and project management.
  • Capable of negotiating, resolving conflicts, and effectively communicating across various platforms.
  • Proficient in English and Malay; ability to converse and write in Chinese, or other international languages is an added advantage.

Principles Duties and Responsibilities

International Patient Marketing and Outreach Execution

  • Promotes specialised hospital services, Centres of Excellence, and medical tourism packages to international audiences to increase global visibility and patient attraction.
  • Coordinates the development and distribution of digital campaigns, brochures, and marketing collateral tailored for international markets.
  • Represents the organisation at international healthcare exhibitions, webinars, and networking events to support medical tourism growth.

Global Branding and Reputation Management

  • Ensures consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms to strengthen the hospital’s global reputation and credibility.
  • Leverages hospital accreditation, clinical success stories, and medical specialities to build trust with prospective international patients and partners.
  • Coordinates international media coverage and strategic communication initiatives to highlight the organisation’s regional leadership in healthcare.

Stakeholder Liaison and Cross-Border Coordination

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with medical tourism facilitators, travel agencies, international insurers, and embassies to expand the global referral network and drive sustained patient inflow.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Marketing, PR, and Clinical departments to align messaging and ensure a seamless service experience for international patient arrivals.
    Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with key international referral sources to ensure high levels of engagement and organizational credibility.

Performance Analytics and Strategic Reporting

  • Tracks and analyses international patient leads, inquiries, and engagement metrics to support data-driven decision-making and improve marketing and outreach effectiveness.
    Monitors campaign performance and return on investment (ROI) to identify trends in patient acquisition and support the optimisation of marketing strategies and resource allocation.
  • Prepares regular reports and performance summaries for management review to support strategic planning and identify areas for improvement in international marketing and patient engagement activities.
