The Building/Facility Management Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, and safety of all hospital facilities, ensuring that buildings, infrastructure, and systems support high-quality patient care. This includes managing a team, maintaining critical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling space planning, emergency preparedness, and sustainability efforts.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management and Healthcare Facility Management.
- Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management and Construction Management.
- 7-10 years of facilities management experience, including leadership in a hospital or large healthcare environment.
- Professional Certification such as CFM, FMP and IFMA will be preferred
- Technical expertise in building systems and hospital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all hospital areas (inpatient, outpatient, pharmacy, labs, operating theatres, etc.) are well-maintained and fully operational.
- Ensure facilities comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., fire safety, infection control).
- Optimize space utilization and assist with planning for expansions, renovations, or reconfigurations.
- Implement energy-saving, waste-reduction, and environmental initiatives across the hospital.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans for emergencies (e.g., power outages, natural disasters).
