For planned medical treatments, our billing receptionists will provide financial counselling and a detailed estimate of the total costs.
Note:
- Self-paying patients are required to pay a deposit, which varies depending on the type of treatment or surgical procedure.
- Full payment for outpatient procedures must be settled on the day of surgery, while inpatients are required to settle their bills upon discharge.
- Payments can be made at the ward receptions for Executive Suite Ward or Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ward.
- Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit or debit cards, online bank transfers (for local banks), and telegraphic transfers (for foreign patients)
Admissions And Discharge
Ward reception counters are located at:
- JPMC Executive Suite Ward, Level 2
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ward, Level 3
To ensure a smooth admission process, please bring the following documents to the ward reception:
- Identity Card (IC) / Passport / Birth Certificate
- Medical insurance card or insurance policy membership number (see the list of applicable insurance providers below)
- Company Authorization Letter for employer-sponsored medical benefits (applicable to JPMC-approved third-party payers)
- Ministry of Health referral letter (mandatory for Ministry of Health coverage)
Patients requiring medical emergency attention will be seen by the on-duty doctors. If necessary, inpatient admission will be recommended for further treatment and monitoring.
The attending doctor will determine and certify the patient’s fitness for discharge during ward rounds. Once the discharge summary is provided, the discharge process will begin.
- Processing Time: Please allow approximately two hours or more for the hospital to finalize billing and prepare take-home medications.
- Self-Paying Patients: Final settlement, including consumables and lodging charges, must be coordinated with the billing receptionist.
- Insurance Claims: For invoice claims to insurance, refer to the Insurance Partners. Third-party payers (e.g., corporate sponsors, embassies, Ministry of Health) will require the patient’s acknowledgment of the final invoice for claim submission.
