The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital's internal audit function, ensuring financial, operational, and compliance processes are effective, efficient, and in line with hospital policies and healthcare regulations. The role involves leading audits, evaluating risk management practices, and recommending improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and mitigate risks.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, Legal Studies/Law is required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, Quality Management and Legal Studies will be an added advantage.
  • Professional Certifications such as CIA, CRM, CA and CPA will be preferred.
  • 5-8 years of internal audit experience, with 2-3 years in a managerial role, ideally in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead risk-based internal audits across hospital departments, including finance, operations, and clinical services.
  • Assess hospital risk management practices, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal controls.
  • Review and improve internal control systems to identify and address weaknesses.
  • Identify opportunities for improving audit processes and implement best practices.
  • Lead investigations into potential fraud or operational inefficiencies as required.
