Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation services under the portfolio of Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) are led by Rehabilitation Medicine Specialists that aim to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Our world-class medical and physical rehabilitation facilities have the capability to treat patients with severe and complex disabilities, and over a range of rehabilitation services that include and not limited to amputation, brain injury, neurological disorders, major multiple trauma, musculoskeletal/sports injury, arthritis and geriatric conditions. In addition to Rehabilitation Medicine Specialists, rehabilitation services are provided through a combined effort of an interdisciplinary team that may involve but not limited to the following health care professionals:
- Rehabilitation Nurses
- Physiotherapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech & Language Therapists
- Clinical Dieticians
- Clinical Psychologists
- Medical Social Workers
