General Information

Dr. Abraham Paulose is a highly experienced Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist with over two decades of clinical, academic, and research expertise. Prior to joining Jerudong Park Medical Centre, Dr. Paulose served as Associate Professor of Paediatrics at Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kerala, where he led academic programs, mentored students, contributed to curriculum development, and academic research in Paediatric care. He specializes in general Paediatrics, neonatal care, and Paediatric endocrinology, with special interests in Paediatric obesity and metabolic syndrome, diabetes, congenital hypothyroidism, and metabolic bone diseases. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Paulose serves as an Adjunct Senior Assistant Professor at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), where he actively teaches and mentors medical student. A passionate educator and published researcher, he has presented at global conferences and contributed to prominent Paediatric textbooks. Dr. Paulose is known for his patient-centered approach, clinical acumen, and dedication to improving child health outcomes through evidence-based care, health education, and innovative care models. Dr. Paulose believes in empowering his patients and their families through education, open communication, and shared decision-making. His commitment to Paediatric Diabetes education was recognized with the 2023 Innovation in Paediatric Diabetes Care Award by ISPAD as a member of the IDEAL (ISPAE Diabetes Education and Learning) team. Outside of work, Dr. Paulose enjoys reading, cinema, and developing diabetes-related smartphone applications, while cherishing time with his family.
