Major Dr. Norhasyimah binti Mahadi (Retired) is a qualified General Practitioner and Family Medicine Specialist from Malaysia, with 19 years of medical experience. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and an International Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK). She served for 10 years in the Malaysian Armed Forces Royal Medical Corps.

She has held senior roles in both public and private healthcare, served as a Senior Locum Medical Officer at the National Heart Institute, and contributed to medical education through teaching roles at a private university. Dr. Norhasyimah enjoys all aspect of general practice including chronic disease management, smoking cessation, minor clinical procedures, and has special interest in pediatric care.

Outside of medicine, she is an intermediate-level certified signer in Brunei Sign Language and a member of the National Deaf Association of Brunei Darussalam. She is a proud mother of three teenage sons and enjoys gardening and traditional Malay cooking. In 2014, she was honored with the Excellence Award by Malaysia’s Ministry of Defense.
