JERUDONG, 16 January 2026 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) held a Majlis Solat Sunat Hajat, Bacaan Surah Yaasin, and Doa Khas today, as a collective expression of devotion and prayer for the health and well-being of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The religious gathering was held concurrently at the JPMC Main Surau and the Lecture Theatre, with a live broadcast ensuring that staff across the institution could participate in the solemn observance. The event was attended by the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Md Isham bin Hj Jaafar, alongside members of the Senior Management Team, including the Executive Director and the Chief Operating Officer of Gleneagles JPMC, and staff from both institutions.

The programme commenced with a tazkirah reflecting on the spiritual significance of the gathering, followed by Solat Sunat Hajat, Bacaan Surah Yaasin, and Doa Khas led by Ustaz Haji Ishkandar bin Haji Buntar. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Md Isham bin Hj Jaafar joined invited guests for prayers at the Main Surau, while the wider staff body participated via the live link from the Lecture Theatre.

Marked by a spirit of unity and humility, the JPMC community joined in sincere devotion to seek Allah’s blessings and continued good health for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
