The EDCPS Conducts A Cancer Awareness Talk to Officers And Staffs from The Ministry of Home Affairs

The Early Detection & Cancer Prevention Services (EDCPS) under The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) had the privilege of giving Cancer Awareness Talk to 40 women officers and staffs from various departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) on Thursday, 8th April 2021. Joining them at the talk was the Non-Communicable Disease Prevention Department from the Ministry of Health. The talk session was organized by MOHA with the aim of promoting cancer awareness among its women officers and staffs.

The talk was given by Datin Dr Hajah Noraslinah Haji Ramlee, Head of Early Detection & Cancer Prevention Services (EDCPS) highlighting on the cancer cases among women, its symptoms and the importance of early detection and cancer screening. The session was also complimented with a mini exhibition on cancer awareness and breast self-examination demonstration where the MOHA officers and staffs were able to interact with healthcare professionals and had the opportunity to register for cancer screening.
