JERUDONG, 24th February 2026 – A delegation of 10 MBA students from Waseda University, led by Assoc. Prof. Katsutoshi Sato, visited Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) to gain insights into Brunei’s economic development, national investment
ecosystem, and cultural landscape, with a particular focus on healthcare strategy and the development of medical tourism.
The group was warmly received at JPMC’s Main Lobby by the Chief Medical Officer, senior management, and public relations representatives. The visit included a corporate presentation and discussion in the Main Board Room, followed by a guided tour of JPMC’s facilities, including the Executive Ward, Outpatient Department, and Fitness Centre.
Representing Satokatsu Zemi, a seminar specialising in corporate strategy and finance, the students actively engage in real-world learning through company visits and cultural immersion. Their visit to Brunei continues Waseda University’s commitment to expanding global perspectives for its MBA students, building on previous study tours to Mongolia and France.
