7 July 2026, Tuesday – Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (“BSP”) and Jerudong Park Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (“JPMC”) signed three agreements today in relation to the planned transition of the operation and management of Panaga Health (“PH”) to JPMC.
The signing ceremony, held at Panaga Health, was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of JPMC.
Signing on behalf of JPMC was Dayangku Hajah Dewi Sarwani binti Pengiran Haji Sarpuddin, Senior Investment Manager at Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd, in her capacity as Board Member of JPMC, with Dr Haji Muhammad Syafiq bin Abdullah, Chief Medical Officer of JPMC, as witness.
Representing BSP was Johan Atema, Managing Director of BSP, accompanied by Mazlina Haji Ma’awiah, Integrated Facilities Management Manager of BSP, as witness.
The transition aims to ensure continued healthcare services to existing users and the wider community, which is in alignment with Brunei Darussalam’s Wawasan 2035 goals.

The operational transition is expected to be completed by Q1 2027.
