14 August 2026 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) has extended the impact of its Employee Wellbeing Week 2026 beyond the workplace with a BND1,300 contribution to Hand4Hand Brunei, bringing this year’s theme, “Living Our Purpose,” to life through meaningful action by providing assistance to underprivileged communities in need.
The donation was presented by Ms. J. Tracy Ramantan-McGlynn, Chairperson of Employee Wellbeing Week 2026, to Haji Muhamad Iqbal Fakhri bin Haji Damit, Co-Founder of Hand4Hand Brunei, during a handover ceremony held at JPMC.
Held from 6th to 9th July 2026, Employee Wellbeing Week brought JPMC employees together through a range of learning, wellbeing and engagement activities designed to encourage employees to reconnect with what gives meaning to their work, strengthen connections with one another and recognise the difference they can make through everyday actions.
This year, that sense of purpose was extended beyond JPMC through the support of Hand4Hand Brunei as the programme’s NPO of Choice, a local non-profit organisation dedicated to humanitarian assistance and supporting communities in need. The BND 1,300 donation was made possible through the collective contributions of JPMC and participating vendors in support of Hand4Hand Brunei.
Reflecting on the initiative, Ms. J. Tracy Ramantan-McGlynn said “Every contribution reflects the generosity of everyone involved, and we’re grateful to continue supporting organisations like Hand4Hand Brunei and the meaningful work they do for our community.”
JPMC extends its sincere appreciation to all participating vendors, partners, employees and contributors who supported the initiative. Their collective participation demonstrates how small contributions, when brought together by a shared purpose, can create a meaningful impact within the wider community.
