Under the 2025-2026 theme ‘Biomedical Laboratory Scientists Promoting Sustainability in Clinical Diagnostics’, the celebration highlighted JPMC’s commitment to environmentally responsible laboratory practices while delivering cutting-edge patient care. The celebration commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a welcoming speech by Dr Hj Mohamad Bin Hj Kassim, Head of Laboratory Department of JPMC. In his welcoming speech, he emphasised how innovation and technology are enabling laboratories to reduce waste and energy consumption without compromising diagnostic excellence.
