THE BRUNEI CANCER CENTRE

Comprehensive Cancer Care,
Where Diagnosis and Treatment Meet

Established over a decade ago and now integrated within Jerudong Park Medical Centre, The Brunei Cancer Centre brings radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, medical oncology and early detection together in one location. Your care is planned by a multidisciplinary team and delivered without moving between institutions.

The Brunei Cancer Centre was established with a singular commitment: to bring world-class cancer care to the region without requiring patients to leave home. Today, as part of Jerudong Park Medical Centre, we deliver diagnosis, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, medical oncology and palliative care under one roof, supported by a team of specialist consultants, nurses and allied health professionals who plan your treatment together and deliver it without interruption. Every decision is made in your presence and documented in your records. No patient moves between institutions during treatment, and no case is too complex to warrant collaboration with internationally recognised cancer centres.

Our approach is shaped by three convictions. First, that early detection transforms outcomes, which is why we invest in screening and education for patients and the community alike. Second, that treatment plans must account for the person receiving them, not just the cancer being treated, which drives our commitment to personalised care and symptom support from the moment of diagnosis. Third, that excellence in cancer care means combining the precision of advanced technology with the human judgment of experienced clinicians. You receive both here.

Clinical Specialties

Four Specialties, One Multidisciplinary Team

We bring radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, medical oncology and early detection services under one roof, so your care is coordinated, your treatment is personalised, and your journey moves seamlessly between specialties.

Radiotherapy

High-energy radiation targets your cancer while sparing healthy tissue, often completing a full course of treatment in weeks with minimal disruption to your daily life.

Nuclear Medicine

Radioactive tracers reveal which cells are cancerous and how aggressively they are spreading, showing your doctors what conventional imaging cannot.

Medical Oncology

Chemotherapy, targeted drugs and immunotherapy selected based on your cancer's individual biology, not its name alone.

Early Detection and Cancer Prevention Services

Genetic testing and personalised screening for people at higher risk, catching cancer before symptoms emerge and before it advances.

Patient Education

Understand Your Diagnosis and Your Options

Knowledge is part of your treatment. We provide clear, evidence-based information on cancer types, screening, prevention and what to expect at every stage of your journey.

Research, Education and Training

Advancing Cancer Care Through Research and Collaboration

Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with national and international institutions on clinical trials and research that brings emerging therapies to our patients and advances the field.
