16th December 2024 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) proudly announces the soft opening of its newly refurbished Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ward, located on Level 3.

The extensive renovation, completed over several months, introduces state-of-the-art medical facilities, enhanced patient accommodations, and a welcoming, modern environment designed to promote overall wellbeing. Key upgrades feature a water bath for labor pain management, cutting-edge medical equipment, additional deluxe rooms, and dedicated spaces for both prenatal and postnatal care, all designed to provide an enhanced patient experience.

The soft opening was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Hj Mohd Isham bin Hj Jaafar, Minister of Health in the capacity as Chairman and Executive Director of JPMC. Senior management and department heads were also present at the event, which began with a prayer recital and concluded with a guided tour of the newly renovated ward.

This milestone marks another step forward in JPMC’s ongoing mission to deliver excellent healthcare for all.
