Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) organised a one-day virtual symposium on “Updates on Treatment Paradigms of Advanced Colorectal Cancer” at Indera Samudra Hall of The Empire Brunei with over 120 participants from medical sectors across the nation. The symposium was supported by MediPharm Co.

Dato Seri Laila Jasa Dr Babu Sukumaran, Director of TBCC highlighted Colorectal Cancer Burden in Brunei Darussalam and the availability of various diagnostic and treatment facilities in Brunei Darussalam like surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, radionuclear imaging and interventional radiology.

Various topics were presented by several medical experts from Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. It was joined virtually by speakers from Singapore, Adj. Asst. Prof. Cheryl Lau, Consultant from Colorectal Clinic Associates of Singapore and Dr. Wong Siew Wei, Consultant Medical Oncologist from The Cancer Centre of Singapore.
