9th December 2022 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) conducted a donation handover ceremony to Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group (BBCSG) after their success with collecting donations on the recent “Eat Healthily With Us” event happened on Friday, 25th November 2022 with a total amount of BND1,105.00 throughout the one day event.
The event was attended by Yang Mulia Dr Meera Sahib Kabeer, Medical Director of JPMC, Head of Departments, members of BBCSG and invited vendors. Dr Kabeer had the honour of presenting certificate of appreciation to each vendor for their vital support to make the event a success. Shortly followed by handover of donation to BBCSG, received by Yang Mulia Puan Hajah Aminah binti Hj Momin, President of Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group.
Giving back to the community is an important part of corporate responsibility for JPMC and “Eat Healthily With Us” event was no exception. The event was conducted to encourage healthy lifestyle through balance diet and physical activities, with an additional intention of raising funds for BBCSG through the vendors kind contribution of 10% of their sales, photo booth charges of $1.00 for every photo and visitors’ generous donations.
JPMC hope the donations will greatly benefit BBCSG towards their objectives and facilities in helping those going through a challenging time.
