15th May 2020 – The Holy month of Ramadhan is a blissful opportunity for every Muslim ummah to demonstrate unity and come to the aid of those who need assistance.
The Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) has reach out to the underprivileged families as part of the institute’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) during this Holy month of Ramadhan. This year’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) “Be Part of Their Smile” Ramadhan Charity Drive was organized yesterday, Friday, 15th May 2020.
The cash and in-kind donations were distributed to underprivileged families consist of orphans and widows of Kampong Jerudong. This was made possible with the staff’s kind contribution of cash donation and along with large amount of in-kind donations in a form of household supplies.
This Ramadhan Charity Drive aims to ease the burden of the underprivileged families. Moreover, JPMC hopes to continue this initiative for years to come and encourage members of the institution to lend a helping hand and give back to the community.
