25 February 2020 – The Jerudong Park Medical Centre went towards conserving green environment by organizing this year’s recycling drive yesterday on 25th February 2020, which also contributed to employees’ green initiatives.
All JPMC employees were welcome to participate in this drive by collecting wastepaper from home and work such as outdated newspaper, old magazines, and cardboard boxes. We also focused on recycling electronic items such as computers, telecommunication equipment, home electronics, household appliances and more with the aim to conserve our natural resources when producing new products. The objective of this campaign is to lower environmental impact, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save resources by extracting fewer raw materials from the earth.
JPMC managed to collect over 100kg worth of recycling items with the assistance from a local recycling company, Daikyo Environmental Recycling Sdn Bhd.
