12 March 2021 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) held a soft launch earlier today for the new Renal Dialysis Unit located at Level 2, JPMC.
The opening of the Renal Dialysis Unit symbolizes an important milestone to improve the provision of renal dialysis in the country as well as being the first privatized Dialysis Centre in Brunei, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Brunei.
Present at the event to witness the soft launch was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Hj Mohd Isham bin Hj Jaafar, Minister of Health in his capacity as Chairman and Executive Director of JPMC, Senior Management and Head of Departments of Ministry of Health Brunei and Jerudong Park Medical Centre.
The opening ceremony started with a prayer recital led by Ustaz Haji Ishkandar bin Haji Buntar and then continued with a tour around the facility as well as interactions with the first batch of patients undergoing their treatment at the new Renal Dialysis Unit.
