Friday, 5th June 2026 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), through its Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) Committee and in collaboration with Gleneagles JPMC, organised a Majlis Ceramah Khas, Doa Kesyukuran dan Sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha 1447H on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the JPMC Lecture Theatre.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, in his capacity as Chairman and Executive Director of JPMC. Also in attendance were members of the senior management of JPMC and Gleneagles JPMC, as well as staff from both organisations.

The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a Doa Kesyukuran led by Ustaz Amir Ridzuan bin Haji Tengah, Acting Head Religious Teacher of JPMC.


In his welcoming remarks, Dr Hisham Majid, Chairperson of the Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) Committee, underscored the importance of commemorating meaningful Islamic occasions as a means of strengthening unity, gratitude, and shared purpose among staff.
The programme continued with a special religious talk entitled “Ibadah Korban: Sejarah dan Hikmah” delivered by Ustaz Hilman bin Haji Salim, Assistant Lecturer at the Centre for Contemporary Fiqh Studies, Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB). The talk provided valuable insights into the historical significance, virtues, and lessons behind the practice of ibadah korban, while encouraging participants to reflect on the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and obedience exemplified through the occasion of Hari Raya Aidiladha.
The event forms part of JPMC’s ongoing efforts as an Ibadah Friendly Hospital to promote holistic wellbeing by integrating spiritual enrichment alongside professional and personal development.
The ceremony concluded with a Hari Raya Aidiladha gathering, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage and celebrate the occasion in a spirit of fellowship and appreciation.
