28 February 2025 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) through its Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) Committee, collaborated with Majlis Perundingan Kampung (MPK) Kampung Jerudong ‘A’ & ‘B’ and the Village Heads of Kampung Jerudong ‘A’ & ‘B’ to conduct a cemetery cleaning campaign. The event took place at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jelutong Lampong and Tanah Perkuburan Islam Polo, Bridex, in Kampung Jerudong.

The campaign saw meaningful participation from JPMC, with over 100 volunteers demonstrating their commitment to community service. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Executive Board of JPMC, led the team at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jelutong Lampong. At Tanah Perkuburan Islam Polo, Bridex, the team was led by Yang Mulia Dr Haji Muhd Syafiq bin Abdullah, Director of The Brunei Cancer Centre, JPMC. Yang Mulia Awang Mohammad Nazmi Fa’iz bin Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Village Head of Kampung Jerudong ‘A’ and Yang Mulia Awang Kamis bin Panjang, Acting Village Head of Kampung Jerudong ‘B’ also joined the effort, working alongside volunteers to ensure the initiative’s success.

This annual event, organised by IFH, aims to foster a culture of service, teamwork, and community responsibility among JPMC employees. By contributing to the upkeep of sacred spaces, participants not only give back to the community but also strengthen their connection to the people they serve.
