JPMC and Bersih Solutions Sdn Bhd Unitefor Patient House Cleaning Campaign

21 February 2025 – The Medical Social Work (MSW) Department of Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) has collaborated with Bersih Solutions Sdn Bhd to organise a Patient House Cleaning Campaign, aimed at enhancing the living conditions of underprivileged patients under the care of MSW JPMC, ensuring they reside in clean, safe and healthy environments.

The initiative took place over two days, focusing on cleaning the homes of patients in need. The campaign was joined by Dr Meera Sahib Kabeer, Chief Medical Officer of JPMC, along with Senior Management of JPMC, Dr Haji Muhd Syafiq Abdullah and Mr Chris Carvalho. Dr Muhd Hiza Wardy bin Haji Abdul Halim, Director of General Medical Services at JPMC led the volunteers, demonstrating the hospital’s commitment to holistic patient care. The management of Bersih Solutions Sdn Bhd, Ahmad Fitri, Co-Founder cum Marketing Manager and Mohammad Khairul Hazwan, Co-Founder cum Operation Manager also participated in the cleaning initiative. This collective effort underscored JPMC’s approach to engaging the community and its partners in addressing the broader needs of patients, ensuring their well-being extends beyond medical care.

The primary goal of the collaboration was to enhance the living conditions of patients under MSW JPMC’s care. By cleaning their homes, the campaign ensured these patients could focus on their recovery in a healthier and more comfortable environment. By partnering with Bersih Solutions Sdn Bhd, a company specializing in professional cleaning services, partnered with JPMC to address the challenges of outsourcing external cleaning services due to limited resources and budget constraints. Their expertise and support were instrumental in the success of the campaign.

The Patient House Cleaning Campaign underscored JPMC’s ongoing commitment to addressing not only the medical needs of its patients but also the social and environmental factors that impact their well-being.
