10th April 2026 – A group of nursing students from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), accompanied by their lecturers, visited Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) as part of their academic and clinical learning experience. A total of 67 students attended the visit.
The programme commenced with a corporate presentation by JPMC’s Public Relations team at the Lecture Theatre, RF Floor, followed by a Nursing Rehabilitation presentation focusing on topic of Nurses roles in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) weekend Activities: Neuro Rehab ward perspectives, delivered by Clinical Charge Nurse Nur Hafizah Hasni.
Students were then divided into six groups for guided tours of selected facilities, led by designated focal nurses, including Senior Staff Nurses (SSN) Eleena Awg Hj Anuar, Mariamma Devasia, and Suriyati Kalman, as well as Clinical Charge Nurses (CCN) Nur Hafizah Hasni, Umi Othman, and Mohd Hariz Zafran.


The tour covered key facilities within JPMC’s Specialist Medical Services, including the Prosthetic and Orthotic (P&O) Unit, Seaview Gym, Hydropool, and Rehabilitation Kitchen, providing valuable exposure to rehabilitation practices and patient care environments.
The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of rehabilitation programmes at the Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC), while offering insight into the roles and collaborative efforts of the multidisciplinary team involved in patient care.
